(Since I Haven’t Read Betrayal at this moment in time, some of my beliefs with what happened in Allston’s Novel may be wrong… and if I am, feel free to correct me)
You have got to hand it to Lumiya, she is one cunning witch.
She say’s she’s not interested getting back at Luke, and yet that’s exactly what she’s doing… by helping Jacen take the path of darkness and that in many way’s is the ultimate revenge, by destroying Luke’s hope’s for is nephew and son – That is if Ben stay’s with Jacen.
In those five year’s Jacen spent searching for Force knowledge he must have lost most of his common sense. If he thinks becoming a Sith will help heal the galaxy, and make things better for his family, He is deluded, Anakin had that same sort of idea – and look where that got him. That Fact isn’t helped by the fact that Jacen thinks his future is the same as Anakin Skywalker’s.
Actually if Anakin Skywalker was still alive he probably would have already pulled Jacen aside, dropped his birches, and tanned his hide like cheap leather, saying something along the line’s of: “Just because I screwed up my Life, doesn’t mean you have to go and screw up your’s.”
Jacen’s behaviour, however, has not gone on unnoticed, Luke’s been venting his concern, his twin doesn’t trust him anymore, people are comparing him to Vader, Han thinks he’s turning into Monster and Leia has the same sort of opinion, but the line that sums it up actually came from Zekk: “Who’s this shapeshifter, and what has he done with Jacen?”
In fact, the only reason why Luke hasn’t pulled Jacen aside and given Jacen the butt kicking he’s asking for, is because he’s got nothing hard to use against him, and Jacen knows this.
Now I know people change, but the change’s Jacen went though after the Vong war, have not been for the better. He’s basically told his friend’s and family that my way is the right way and to go to hell. What he doesn’t realize fully is by doing this he is going to loose everything he ever really cared about and end up totally alone.
I don’t know what Tenel Ka thinks of Jacen’s behaviour, we will find out in Denning’s novel, but she and Allana are in a lot danger, I just hope Tenel Ka is ready for it.
Jacen want’s to hang onto Ben and turn him to the dark side, as well, but Benny Boy is starting to doubt Jacen. He knows something’s wrong with Jacen and things are not adding up around him… the death of Boba Fett’s daughter, just added another question mark to Jacen’s actions and Ben doesn’t like it.
That fact is only enhanced by the fact that Ben turned to his parents for help, after his first kill and is planing to confront Jacen over the recent events – Ben on the whole is a good kid… but a good kid in a pressure cooker, if he’s able to fight off Jacen’s attempts to turn him to the Dark Side - he’ll be a lot better for it.
Also, Jaina should’ve just gone ahead and told her parent’s about the court martial, somehow I don’t think she would’ve got the ‘I’m disappointed with you’ speech…
Actually reading into Jacen’s mind was disturbing. I can see what Traviss meant by wanting to wash her mind out after writing his character’s P.O.V.
Which lead’s into the question – does anyone still think all Jacen’s actions are still justified?
I don’t (I say this while I know some people will still support him 100%).
Now enough on Jacen for now – you can talk about him until the cow’s come home, his story been one of driving force’s in LOTF – and onto the other two main stories in Bloodlines, the Corellian problem and Boba Fett.
Thrackan Sal-Solo got what was coming for him, he decided to make himself a big pain in the ass - so much so that his own family wanted him strung up a tree backwards – and in the end pissed off the bounty hunter’s he asked to wack Han and his family and got shot in the head for all his trouble.
Unfortunately Sal-Solo’s death failed to stop the Corellian problem from getting out of control. Corellia’s dynamite, and the GA’s reaction has only lit the fuse… what Luke and most of the other Jedi have been doing is trying to figure out how to stamp out the fuse, but a certain sith wanabe, has not been helping matter’s any.
While it was interesting to see Boba Fett again his story really didn’t seem to have much of an important role until he got to Corellia, it was interesting seeing him actually working with Han though.
Bloodline’s was a good afternoon read, while it’s not recommended as book to break into Post ROTJ period, it is a must for any Star Wars EU fan that already knows their post ROTJ.

A Little Note on the upcoming book Tempest
“Which will pit mother against son and brother against sister.”
Somehow I don’t think Luke would disagree with Han and Leia for trying to save Tenel Ka (and little Allana, gee, I’m going to love to see Han and Leia’s reaction to her)… but Jacen in his current mind set would, and since Tenel Ka is Jaina’s best Female friend (best male been Zekk, grr), I reckon the brother/sister scrap, will be between them, not Luke and Leia like I first thought.
Had the galaxy gone mad?
Coming from the mind set of someone who should be in the Davey Jones Locker - not trying get back at Leia for helping turn her into someone who look’s like she got the wrong end of chainsaw and then fell into a meat mincer and is as twisted as Lumiya herself - it’s hilarious.
It’s made all the more so, by the fact that she knows Jacen’s working with Lumiya… it will be interesting to see what Alema does with that information, that is if Jacen doesn’t catch her first, Alema has the power to stop Jacen in his tracks – or at the very least slow him down – all she has to do is tell Luke, he’s working with Lumiya, at that will give Luke enough grounds to pull him in, and at the very least have a very serious talk with him.
Alema has no love Jacen, and even though she wants the whole Skywalker/Solo Family dead… she will have more to gain if she tells them about him, because if Jacen catches up her – she’s as good as dead anyway, she’s only still alive because her dart hit the world brain and Jacen had to deal with that.
Luke needs to rein Jacen in and he need’s ammunition to do it. If Alema tells him about happened at the well and if he combines that information with Jacen’s recent rap sheet, he’ll have what he need’s, to at the very least get Ben away from him.

Some tips to break into Post Return of the Jedi EU.
While Prequel EU may be easy to get into… the EU from Post ROTJ is a little harder to get your head around because it’s already well established, and there are no movies or TV show’s to refer to.
So here’s some tip’s to breaking into that era.
It’s not a good idea start with Novels that have New Jedi Order (NJO), Dark Nest (DN) or Legacy of the Force (LOTF) in their titles. They may be the more recent titles, but they are set over 21+ years after ROTJ and there are some events that happened before then that are worth knowing about before you take a crack at them.
If you like reading your books in order – The Truce at Bakura, By Kathy Tyers, is the Place to start.
Also for the folk’s reading the books in order (and even if your not, it will pay for you to do it anyway), Find a Novel’s Timeline, these are not that hard to find, online or they can also be found in some of the more recent novels as well, it will tell you what book to read next.
If you want to get to the most recent books quickly, the Book’s you should go for are: Timothy Zahn’s, Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, The Last Command, Specter of the Past and Vision of the Future, It Also maybe a good idea to check out Kevin J. Anderson’s, Jedi Search, Dark Apprentice and Champion’s of the Force, or alternately Michael Stackpole’s, I Jedi. These novels cover the most important events between ROTJ and The NJO.
It’s also a good idea to get hold of a good Event/Character guide – there are several different ones on the Market – having one will help fill in the gaps… but be careful, for they hold a spoiler a plenty, especially for the older material.
(In my opinion it’s best to take Novel/Guide approach to get up to the more recent books quickly. You can always go back and read the book’s you missed.)
That should give most beginners a good start.

NOT DEAD… Just Sleeping
Although, Not very quietly…
Whoa! How many months has it been since I updated this blog?
I’ve got no net connection at home, but since refired up my e-mail address. I thought I’d Update this.
They say Bad things come in three’s… A Very Sad Goodbye to, Steve Irwin, Collin Thiele and Peter Brock, Rest in Peace guys, Australia will miss you.
On the Star Wars Front I haven’t got much to say, I’ve been reading more SW Comic’s lately… And I’ve only seen one of this years novels believe it or not (RC:TZ and I only got that last week, Nejaa and Anakin would be proud of Etain). But judging on what I’ve been hearing Jacen need’s a wake up call… As for Luke been dead in the Legacy comic’s (Like that was a big shock)… GET OVER IT, Vima and Rell are the Stand out’s, not the norm, and I won’t be surprised if none of the other OT characters appear alive in LC (actually I’d be surprised if one of them did).
In the year Superman Return’s I rediscovered Lois and Clark, and remembered why I liked the show when I was a little kid and Got Pissed of with channel ten for putting Big Brother on in the Smallville Time slot Two weeks in a row, At the same time Return’s hit the cinema’s.
Actually I’m still po’ed with Ten they’ve stoped showing Smallville when we’re still 1 Season and 6 ep’s Behind the US, and there actually were some real dozies coming up…
I have also found a copy the Dog’s Tale on a DVD…
The Footrot Flat’s movie – Not an actual Dog’s tail stuck on top of a DVD.
The Post’s Below have been in the work’s for few months…

Or I Just loved shooting myself in the Foot last year…

(What I said then, What I say Now)
Dark Nest comment’s:
Really, if I don't see JK in Bookstore's in August, I am going to ask Sremmuy and her friends: "Why are we not getting all the novels, in Australia?"
It turned up in September, and I don’t think I ever Followed through with that warning.
Something like this idea could work for DN but then again, it could be like kicking a dead cat around... Wouldn’t it?
That was about seeing something similar to Clone Wars in the NJO, While there was nothing really Similar, We did get to see some ROTS in DN.
So these books do have a lot of potential to be different.
A bit too different for some…
I think the book series that's more in danger of the re-hash problem is the one that happens after this one.
Er… Something tells me that we are going to have a bit of that going on.
Syal and Valin, Hmm...I could almost see Wedge beating down Corran's door yelling "Your son knocked up my daughter!"But I think that's For Legacy.
They didn’t even appear.
Toxic bugs... The Jedi kill them but they are still deadly. Hmmm...
Four Word’s – The Dark Nest: Grorg.
Han... With... Dentures!
Oh I could see it now..."Leia, Have you seenth me teeth?"
Hmm… a dig at Han getting old, and there were a few digs at that.
I don't think we will be seeing any Sith Post NJO but that doesn't rule out dark Jedi
(Slap’s self on head…) Lumya cillanasky! Lumya!
I hope they don't do the 'good wife' thing to Mara in this series as well, I want to see her doing what she does best - kick some serious bugs butt.
Well she did kick some Bug butt…But the Bug’s kicked hers as well.
Actaully I am up for Mara to teach Leia in the ways of the force, Leia should explore her Force background more...
She ended up with Saba.
To have Luke go back to his pre VotF behavior would not make much sense, although if that was Luke going out in a blaze of glory...hmm I don't know, I don't want Luke to die just yet, cause I want to see him deal with Ben as a Teenager
Luke is already having trouble with Ben.
Furball your right on about Kyp and Corran getting on with each other, if you locked those two in a room before DJ they would have ripped each other to shreads in minutes. If You did the same thing now, they would still rip each other apart... but after a few hours.
It ‘s nice to see Kyp and Corran been their old selves again – that is ripping each other apart in minutes.
Luke in the NJO didn't really know what to do when the Vong first made themselves known, He was kind of held back by his masters teachings and his fear of the darkside.By the end of the NJO however, his view on things changed, so it be interesting to see what he's like in DN, 'cause he's now a father, husband and Jedi Master, and not the total boss of the Jedi order anymore...
Hmm… Luke’s very Pro-active…
Kyp could be roasting on a spit over the bugs fire...
Or trying to Figure out how to get down, after Ben Skywalker "somehow" tied him up a tree next to a nest of killer wasps.
Luke: Ben where's Corran?Ben: He went climbing with Kyp.Luke: Climbing where?Ben points above him, Luke looks up and sees Kyp and Corran tied up a tree fighting off killer wasps.Kyp and Corran: Luke!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!
Ben will be as good as gold, around his parents and Aunt. But once they have their backs turned... You get the picture.Oh on that note if anyone kiddnaps Ben, ether the kid, is going to escape somehow, doing major damage on the out, or the nappers are going to beg Luke and Mara to take him back.
Just do the math guys... that kid is going to get himself into a bucket load of trouble if he takes after his family.
Okay, Maybe Ben is flying his Daddy's X-wing and he lands on Tahiri
Kyp probably wont have time, to go girl hunting, Between work with the high council and keeping out of trouble with the youngest member of the Skywalker tribe... Bless Ben's little soul
Some good old Kyp, Corran and Tahiri bashing, with the idea of Ben the terror child mixed in Hmm… Ben wasn’t that bad… I Think ;)
Well I think the Baby should be a girl too... Because the Last Baby born into that end of the Storyline was a male, so the next one should be a Female.
Ha!
And about the Baby's Name, I wouldn't call it Anakin ether, as you guys said earlier, but if it is a Skywalker/Solo I wouldn't be surprised if the baby's name starts with an A.
Double Ha! I was right
An Ewok piloting a ship... Wedge is going to faint when he hears about it.
Wedge start planning your biggest payback ever agaist Wes now. Nothing beats the turth for payback.
On the other hand Han did some work with the Wraiths, so Han might say something along those lines to Leia or Luke when he hears about it
Damn I Forgot about this, But Wedge didn’t appear in DN ether, a pity I would have liked to see him.
Oh... a nasty Ewok co-pilot then.I could see Han laughing his head off at the idea, just before the little fuzz ball attacked him.Or the Ewok could of been mistaken for a young wookie in Luke saw in his vision, when Ben was born.
Talking about Tarfang… wasn’t that far off with that idea though.
Raynar will be a bad boy, but make all his friends think that he's good.
Triple Ha!
This has Just occured to Me... What if Raynar doesn't know Anakin's dead? and he runs into the Solo twins?
That was way of the mark.
This book Series comes in at a good time to have a look at the Solo twins as well, they're at the age where their life's are changing. They are Flying the coop, looking for love (well in Jacen's case), and setting up there life's for the next few years.
Looking for love in both Jaina and Jacen’s cases :( And it’s Jacen whose love life that seems to be going on the right track.
Maybe Jacen will finaly make up his mind, or Tahiri may get together with someone.
Or maybe Jacen and Tahiri will get together...
He he he, Well even with Allana and all, That couple hasn’t been entirely de-bunked
Jacen may find love but his character still seems up in the air for the future and such.
NOT ANYMORE!!!
Jacen is one of those character's that likes to find a peaceful or tactful way to solve problems, this in a way would make him a good leader, but I am leaving one thing out: Jacen is indecisive. That in a Leader is a bad thing in some way's... You only have to take a look at Luke at the beginning of the NJO.
When Jacen is decisive the better option maybe is to just run for your life.
Jacen might drive Ben crazy.
I’m might have been onto something there. But that's more for the 9 book series. And I also have some reason to believe that Jacen has a bit of a vindictive side.
Right... I was thinking along the Lines of if Jacen was pushed to far, he could get very nasty and give Ben (or anyone else for that matter) a great big scare.
Well if frying your girlfriend’s granny’s brain’s doesn’t count for vindictiveness…
Jacen is probably one of the hardest characters to guess who he's going to end up with. Jaina has already made it clear on who she interested in (Jag, Not Kyp at the end of TUF Jaina told Jacen that she didn't Love Him), But with Jacen you can't tell who he going to end up with, because he hasn't made his feelings entirely clear. With the woman he's going to end with there are five possible outcomes
1. He's going to end up with Tenel Ka
2. He's going to end up with Danni
3. He's going to end up with Tahiri (No, I Haven't ruled her out yet)
4. He's going to end up with a new and unknown woman.
5. He Just wont get Married.
You Decide...
Jacen went for option number 1.
Pussy - Footing around when it comes to love is very common in Skywalker family - it usually takes ten years of knowing the person (5 of them actually dating) before someone says "To heck with it, lets tie the Knot."How about we have Jacen meet someone and 2 weeks later they get married in a shot gun wedding, without the folks knowing?
It wasn’t a shot gun wedding, It was a shot gun baby.
Much to the disgust of the J/K, J/Z and J/L shiper's
Ask the Ewok about J/L.
Jag and Jaina seem to be the most likely couple to have kids. Unless something really weird happens...
It’s Star Wars… WEIRD HAPPENS!!!
About this Baby, if its a couple of years old at the start of JK it could be Mara's or even Leia's, but if it is to be born or just born it could be Jaina's (who I reacon it will be), or a whole group of other woman including, Tenel Ka, Tahiri, Lomi, Etc.
Funny I did say something about TK being a possible mother.
But if Jaina's the mother, what would happen if the Father's not Jag or Kyp, But Raynar?
I can be a real Sith at times.
One thing I hope DN clears up is some of the character relationship's, Because I'm getting sick of some of the who's going to end up with who debates going around. The main one been who's going to end up with Jaina? Is it going to be Jag or Kyp? Or some other character that we haven't even heard of?
Or Zekk, man, the Jaina/? Debate is getting painful to read…
One Baby... Hmmm, if the Baby's Jaina's that means she will be breaking the trend, that her mother and grandmother set.
Or it’s a sign that, it’s not going to be her’s.
Denning doesn't like Jag? That the first I ever heard about it, mind you Jag wasn't in Star By Star. J/Z shiper Huh? After DJ I got the impression Zekk was out of the picture... And (to me anyway) Zekk is a bit of a control freak, and he would never be able to handle Jaina in a narky mood.
Maybe Jaina would have grown up in the five years. Or got a big wake up call. But don't get me wrong, I still think Jaina is the one that's going to have the bub. (Mara is another Character I would see with another kid, but if she didn't have a kid within two years after the NJO it would be unlikely).
Now thanks to DN Zekk’s back in the picture… Doh!
Just some of the weird things I said a year ago about legacy of the force:
I think the all Jedi would be given the choice on if they want to become part of the government system or not. More likely they will disappear into the people's of the galaxy and only come out when their help is needed in helping keep the force in balance.
Well they were given a choice, in Dark Nest – Just not the choice I was really after.
Yeah I'm more for them finding out by accident than have a story about them looking.
That was about Luke and Leia finding out about Padmé, and it happened in Dark Nest.
Okay, back on topic... I think Ben will be Jacen's Padawan in this series (unless something nasty happens to him in DN).
Weird, because that is becoming very much a reality.
I know Jacen is not sure on teaching but I think he's what Ben needs...
Oh Boy, if I said that now… It would course a Bloody riot! In a sense I was right, Jacen is what Ben needed, However as for him been Ben’s master in his current attitude… Luke had better keep a close eye on his nephew.
Yeah a tribe of Kids to look after
I actually very much doubt that now, with the Joiner thing and her true love hating her guts and all.
I think Jaina by now would have settled down with someone (if she didn't in DN) and had a couple of kids, but been a very busy woman she finds it hard to find to find time for them.
Sigh, A girl can dream, a girl can dream. Dark Nest screwed up a lot of Jaina theories. That ‘someone’ was Jag BTW.

A Real Burning issue – One year After Black Tuesday.
On Monday the 10th of January 2005, I was going through North Shields when I saw smoke in the sky a long way off, and thinking ‘I wonder where that is’, and also that I probably end up hearing were it was a few days after the Fire was put out. Probably just some grass fire somewhere.
On Wednesday the 12th, I was going through North Shields again, but everything had changed.
The Black Tuesday Fires affected everyone in the area, while my parent’s were some of the lucky one’s however, all they lost was a stubble paddock, and the fence’s around three sides of said paddock. But that luck was only because of the fire breaks a neighbour put around his place and a small fire fighter tank my father bought a month earlier.
Everyone in the area knew of someone that was affected by the Fire’s, I even knew in passing one of the people who died – and there’s no real way to describe what you feel after something like that, However after the fire’s I wrote a small line at the bottom of my Fan Fiction profile - it’s not there anymore - but it sums what happened afterwards:
A Fire may burn and destroy – But we will always rise and rebuild from the ashes.

A Dark Lord’s, Dark Warning of a Swarm War’s Ultimate guide.

Well if the Title didn’t give anything away – I’ve got four Star War’s Book reviews.
(The Garfield was a Chrismas gift)
Dark Lord – The Rise of Darth Vader.
James Luceno
Okay I will tell the truth, I am not really a DV fan (I like Anakin Skywalker more than his alter ego), as much as GL say’s that Star Wars is his story (the movie’s anyway ;) ).
In Dark Lord you get a look into Vader’s spilt personality – and the Fact that he’s really lost everything. You also get a look into the life’s of the normal people and some of the Jedi that escaped Order 66.
By far the most interesting things in the book are Bail’s and Obi-Wan reaction’s to Darth Vader and what that mean’s for Luke and Leia (Actually Leia has the most screen time of the two – just being a Baby of course ;) ).
Dark Lord is one of those books that really aim’s at the people that like Vader, and if you like him (and sith in general) this book is a must read and even if you not so keen on Vader, it’s worth checking out.
5/10. It’s a so, so book (I read it out of interest more than the need to). It’s a more of a set the trend for the next books, than a conclusion.
Last of the Jedi #2 Dark Warning.
Jude Watson
Dark Warning is another set up book for what’s to come, and I don’t know if Ferus is going to pull off the role of the role of main character for the rest of the series. However there could be a meeting between Ferus and Vader in the Future, and that should be interesting.
Obi-Wan in a way needed the role in Mission and Warning, to show that he has recovered from the loss of Anakin, the Jedi and Padmé, and is ready to get onto his main mission – the protection Luke Skywalker.
It’s worth reading 6/10
Dark Nest III – The Swarm War.
Troy Denning
Well besides the shock of actually getting a book early for once, Swarm War was a good read.
Luke finally put his foot down on the Jedi and basically told them: If your loyalty is to the order, then it was time to start putting the order first and foremost, if you can’t, there’s the door.
The message didn’t get through to Tesar, Tahiri and Lowbacca – and that’s proved by the fact that they failed to realize that the heads of the colony had to be removed to actually save the Killik’s. It got the Three of them sent on a Dagobah vacation – Tesar and Lowbacca for going behind Luke’s back, and Tahiri for being stupid enough to defend them (sorry, but she should have known that defending them was a bad idea), and then also trying to get out trouble by putting Jacen into the hot water, to no success (it only ticked off Luke all the more).
Jacen’s living in a house of card’s held up only by the secret of his daughter – Allana (that makes two things that I was right about for this series – that the baby was going to be a girl and that the name was going to start with the letter ‘A’) - which led to an interesting scene, of Han, Leia, Luke and Mara trying to work out what the big secret was.
While Swarm War was a good read, the ending fell a bit flat from the fact that there were too many unanswered question’s, while a lot of them will most likely be answered in Legacy, it would have been nice if it had a more rounded of a ending, like in Joiner King.
7/10 for Swarm War, and 7/10 for the whole Dark Nest series.
The Ultimate Visual Guide
Ryder Windham
Well I would say this book is a good beginners book for the people just getting into Star Wars, it gives you the bee’s knees of the whole Star War’s story from the Great Sith War to Star By Star.
Also it take’s you behind the scenes, so it’s a petty good book.
Only problem I had with this book is the fact that did miss out on some of the most obvious plot point’s, that shouldn’t have been missed eg. No mention Ben Skywalker, or the Jedi Knight games.
7/10 the are better books for it’s type, but it is great for Beginners.

What I’ve been doing in the past few day’s

Well I will have to say that I’ve been spiting up my time by cleaning up the garden in my place, and helping out the folks out on the farmlet, for the past week or so. Dad’s screwed up his net connection, so I’ve haven’t been on the net as much as I would like as well.
Actually I’m having a very bad case of Murphy’s Luck, because I’m petty much broke, Seen several thing’s that I would like, and can’t seem to find the thing I really want, and with several things coming up I not to sure on how I’m going to do it.
On a brighter note, I picked up the ROTS DVD, for only about $16 bucks, from Coles, and I couldn’t believe it (I think the guy’s running the show screwed up in their pricing but who’s complaining?), Coles is usually dearer than Woolies, but I got it for 13 bucks cheaper than anywhere else (And I’m not Joking, why would I Joke about money at the moment?).
I’ll get a review for that up when I’ve got the other DVD (It’s out but I haven’t seen it yet) I’m looking for – Footrot Flats, A Dog’s Tail – I love my Footrot Flat’s as much as I do my Star Wars, and I missed out the first time I got the opportunity to get it, so it’s one of little niggly things I’ve been wanting to get for a while.
Although I didn’t find the DVD today, I did see a couple of new Footrot Flats Books in the Book store today for the First time in more than 5 years. They where a sort of cross between the Landscape Books and the Weekender’s, No new material in them, but do have some thing the Books I have don’t have, so I may get them… When I have the money that is.
So that’s what’s been going on.

Where is the Line Between good and bad? – My Unseen Queen Review.
Before I get too far into this, I’d better say it’s not smart to screw up your front cover of a book with such an obvious mistake:

Includes exclusive chapter from forthcoming book – Outbound Flight – by Troy Denning.
Ether Denning is an alias for Zahn – or someone got a little Cut and Paste happy ;)
(This fact has been pointed out several other posters on the Message Boards I go on, so the cred should got to them)
Okay now onto what’s in the book – that’s what matters right?
Well the first thing I’m going to say is: I sure hope nothing happens to Luke anytime soon – because he’s going to have to put most of his Jedi master’s in retraining focusing on working together and making up their Bl--y minds, if they don’t pull their finger out soon and start working as a group as a whole, with or without him.
Ditto for Jacen – I’ll get to him later.
It’s nice to see a bit of Luke and Han action – we haven’t seen anything like that for a long time, Leia and Saba were a riot as well, But I would have liked to see some Leia and Mara action, Because that has never really happened before.
A few months before JK came out I said Raynar was going to be a bad arse, well it’s getting to be that way, and it’s turning out that the Dark Nest are the one’s really running the show – actually it wouldn’t surprise me if Raynar is the one running the whole show, that he’s just being playing it dumb to fool the Jedi.
Alema is one twisted sister – to say that Mara’s the one that killed Padmé. Ha, All Luke has to do is look up the year she died in, and he would know Mara had nothing to do with her death. I think Leia would have been a bit more violent to her if she had of heard of that.
At least she isn’t trying to bonk anything that moves this time around.
Jaina and Zekk are still Joiners – someone un-join them before they get too creepy, it’s got to be possible surely? At while you’re at it un-join poor Ben, he got enough on his plate.
Now before I tear into Jacen – I want everyone who’s read Destiny’s Way to think back to that little talk Kyp (of all people) had with Jaina. I’ll use a line (which is not from Star Wars BTW) to sum up what that talk was about.
“Our Job is to protect the innocent, not to punish the guilty.”
(I’ll let you Figure where I pulled that line from :p )
Now I like Jacen don’t get me wrong – But I’m not going to say that he did no wrong in UQ.
Before DN started we were all fairly dead sure, that Jaina was going to be the mother of the DN Baby. So after Joiner King came out to find things had changed, that view changed, to the other twin Jacen siring the child with Tenel Ka. Before JK came out Jacen was a long shot chance at being the Father of the DN baby.
Now I know Jacen was shocked to hear that he was a daddy, and that he had Zero time to get over that shock…Because the bugs attacked about five minutes later, and Ben’s Joiner side kicking in adding to the insanity did help thing’s much and that’s when the real bomb shell for this book came in – it’s not really the fact that Jacen hurt Ben in that fight – it’s the fact that he didn’t care that he did, that’s the problem.
What happened to Ta’a Chume after that, may have well being Justified, But that is like someone taking the law into their on hands to go after a Rapist or a Killer, instead of leaving it to the Law enforcers – you might have stopped the person, but at the cost of landing yourself in trouble, which leads to the point I made earlier on this issue – Jacen in a way had stopped doing his Job.
He is at the moment falling to the dark side… and someone needs to snap him out of it before it’s too late.
Unseen Queen is a good read and leave’s a lot of questions too be answered – I can’t wait for Swarm War, when I reckon every thing is going to hit the fan, for Jacen.
I’ll give it a 7/10.

Skywalker Family tree
A Few Weeks ago I answered a question about the Skywalker Family Tree.
I said there was one in the fact Files this is it:
The image is not that clear, I know, but that's what it looks like... except the line under Jacen's name, I added that bit in... it's the Dark Nest Baby - which is Jacen's and Tenel Ka's, She has no Name as of yet.
Although I reafer the to the girl as Annienel ;)

The Joiner King - Before she read it, and after she read it.
This is my review on Joiner King, with my first thoughts on reading the Spoilers written on message boards, the second part is my thoughts after reading the novel, with some opinion’s on some of the issue’s that have appeared in the book.
Before she read it
This is what sucks about Aussie’s getting books in latter than the US and/or the UK - You can very easily be spoiled on what goes on in the book - and there is really no excuse for this – we are an English speaking country after all…
Anyhow, this is to talk about Joiner King, well the spoilers I’ve seen anyway.
Well basically this book is set about five years after the New Jedi Order, and Luke is having trouble with his Jedi – again – to add to his problems with Cal Omas.
What pushes Luke into action is the Mykrr Jedi going south, and that where they meet the Killiks, and they are bugs, mate.
I’ve seen a full Summary Joiner King so I’m not going summarise things too much until I read the novel, but there are some issues that I have heard about that I really want to comment on but I will wait until I’ve read the book.
Not much of a Starter but hey.
After she read it
There are reasons why you shouldn’t read too many spoilers, and maybe I shouldn’t read any for Unseen Queen… Yeah right, I’m not that strong.
The Joiner King is a solid read, it is fast paced – no matter what other people say, yes it does take some time to get to the action scenes but the story is fast moving none the less.
I liked the book, it was good to get away from the PT after having an Anakin/Vader overload, er, check that, almost getting away from the PT. ;)
You get just about everything in the book – Bugs, Fights, Dark Jedi, Chiss, Padmé, Sex, what happened after war, Etc. and it’s a lot to take in.
However I did have a few niggles with this book – Some of the scenes were hard to follow and you had characters popping up from almost nowhere at times, that and a certain character couple.
But overall a good read. 7/10

I have not read the book, this is all info, is found on several message boards.
J/K shippers, it’s over - it’s not going to happen. But J/J and J/Z shippers get comfy, things are about to happen.
Artoo’s playing up, Luke try’s to fix him – and he gets a little Blast from the past.
I have read Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I will post my view on it later.

Things have been a little Crazy lately...
I'll start by saying that I've had a cold for the past week, and the Lamb's haven't been too Flash lately etheir, we've lost Two which means we now have 12, with one still seedy.
I'm spending less time on the computer's these days as well, so my fan fic's are going to take some time to update... Hell, I've got a Star Wars Novel I want to read before the next Harry Potter book come's out - which is at the end of this week.
So things are a little bit crazy at the moment.

Ahhh... More Twerts!!!
This is getting out of control.
Gee mum why don’t you take care of all the lamb’s in the mob, and give the ewes a break?
Ok so it’s not that bad.
But 13!?!
Please mum no more.
Look I know what happens to motherless lambs.
But we can’t look after them all, some will die.
Sigh no more, Please… I’m the one that has to make up the bloody milk!
For those who are wondering what they’re names are:
Mayble
Tammy
Hansel
Gretel (Greedy guts)
Black eyed Susan
Nelly
Bambi
Thumper (Tiny Twert)
Thumbelina (Tiny Twert)
Flower
Fox trot
Aaron
Michel
(and no, I didn’t give them their names)

Now I’ve seen Revenge I better give you my view on the Film.
This is the only Star Wars Movie that I have seen in the theatres and boy it took a lot of willpower to keep my butt glued on the seat; I was shaking though the whole film. Not from Fear mind you, but from the sheer excitement of seeing the film.
The film is pure eye candy (and no I’m not just talking of the Ewan and Hayden, variety), there’s just so much to take in, and it blows you away – you can’t take it all in one viewing (and I really didn’t find any of the Easter eggs for that reason).
Now I am going to admit something (which I have before, mind you) – I read the novel (Stover’s) nearly two months before I saw the film. So what caused Anakin’s Fall was no surprise, same with Padmé’s death after the twins were born.
However the novel or the comic of the film didn’t tell me everything on what to expect in the Film… The Most noteable one is that small scene just before Anakin’s Dream, which leads me into another quirk of this film – you actually ‘see’ Anakin’s visions, something that has never been seen in a SW film.
I still stand by what I said about Grievous on the OS Message Boards – That people that know nothing about Star Wars EU, will most likely be wondering who he is, and why he was there. One of the biggest flaws of the prequels was not having a strong consistent bad guy - Nute Gunray is a piss poor excuse for a bad guy, all he does is whine.
Anakin and Padmé are a good couple, and I am a A/P shipper – but Obi-Wan and Padmé seemed to have more chemistry on the screen, then Anakin and Padmé did at times.
Also there’s some scenes that should have not been cut – Like the scene in which Padmé, Bail and Mon, talk about starting a rebellion and when Obi-Wan talks to Padmé before going after Grievous.
Some people would think Anakin’s turn was quite sudden. However, the signs were there for the movie goers in Attack of the Clones, for the EU readers, like me, we saw a lot more of them.
Revenge of the Sith, is the strongest of all the prequel movies, while at times it can be disturbing (Roasted Anakin anyone?), and has a predicable storyline, it is the must see of all the prequel movies.
