Pet Lambs - Cute right?
To me that is not really the case, and if you wait until they older, they can become a real pain in the butt.
And I mean a pain in the butt, pet Ram's are dangerous animals - One of the pet rams we had actaully bunted in a bird cage door to get at some wheat that he wasn't suppost to get - I watched him do it, there was no way in hell that was going to get in his way - even if I had a piece poly pipe to defend myself.
For that reason most of the male Lambs we bring up get niped at the balls. It stop's the nasty behavior, however, that doesn't stop all the problem's.
Pet Lambs don't allways want to go back and live with the mob, so they hang around the main house hold, and if you forget to shut gate's and shed doors - well they walk in like they rule the place.
Pet Lambs do have the 'Awww' factor when they are young but when they are older they can become the 'Swear' Factor.
This year the Number of Pet lamb's we have (at the moment) is Five, last year it was Nine.
So you can see why my cuteness factor of Pet lambs has sort of worn off.
