Some Tips on using Message Boards.

Most of you will Have used a message board, sometime in your life but here are a few tips on staying out of trouble on those boards:

• First and Formost, check out the site rules before posting anything. Also get to know the site as well.
• Never give away any imformation that could lead to unwanted attenion in your privite life. This means Don't post your last name, Phone Number, or Home Address, on the boards you use.
• If you are going to start a new Thread think about: Is this the right board to put this in? and Is there already a thread on this topic? - To answer the latter check out the board's thread directory and the first few pages of threads.
• On the point of starting new threads, don't start a new Thread to answer a one shot question - most big boards have general Q/A threads, if the board you use does not have one - start one, and make Sure your fellow users use it. You will find that the board will get a lot cleaner and it will be easlier to find that thread your atfer.
• Be nice to other people that use the boards - They have just as much right to be there as you do.
• Keep your bad language to yourself - Almost everyone says the F and the S, word sometime in their life's but most large boards forbid it, so it's best not to write those words into your messages.

If you follow what I have writen down here you will, probably, find that you wont get into too much touble with the Mod's of the boards you use.
